Abstract
Photofragmentation volammetry is used to demonstrate directly the prim ary loss of P(Ar)3 from [(eta5-C5H5)Fe(CO)(PAr3)=C(NHMe)Me] +BF4- (Ar = phenyl 1 and p-tolyl 2) on irradiation with visible light. In contra st, no loss of carbon monoxide is observed.
