Abstract
The in vitro culture of neuronal cells is a useful tool for studying, in a controlled way, neurobiological and neuropharmacological phenomen a. A first step towards the understanding of these phenomena is descri bed. Effects of simulated excitatory/inhibitory synapses, artificially positioned along the digitized image of neural arborizations, are pre sented.
