Abstract
The aggregation of some acid dyes in absence and presence of different percentage of organic solvents (dioxane, ethanol and acetone) and dif ferent molarities of salts (NaCl, KNO3, KCI and Kl) has been studied, A simple equilibrium model Between a monomer and n-mer is assumed to b e operative and the absorptivity of the monomer was chosen, The aggreg ation constant and the aggregation number of C.I. Acid Red 14 and C.I. Acid Red 17 have been calculated using two different methods.
