Abstract
The name of Maronetum constantis Crespo et al. ex Bahillo et Lopez de Silanes ''nova ass.'' is proposed for the pioneering heliophytic assoc iation which covers the bark of tree branches and trunks of Betula cel tiberica, Quercus robur and Alnus glutinosa, it is characteristic of t he epiphytic vegetation in the province of Pontevedra.
