Abstract
Mutations in the WAF1/CIP1 gene were not found in 36 ovarian carcinoma s, including tumours with loss of heterozygosity at the WAF1/CIP1 locu s and/or lacking p53 mutations. In addition, no association was demons trable between a polymorphism in a conserved region of the WAF1/CIP1 g ene and ovarian carcinoma.
