Abstract
Molecular vibrations of a-[bis(ethylenedithio)tetrathiafulvalene]2Cu(N CS)2 and its deuterated salt were investigated by Raman scattering. Th e polarization configuration, incident laser wavelength, and temperatu re dependence were measured. The observed peaks were assigned with the help of isotope shift, and the electron molecular-vibration coupling constants were estimated in cooperation with infrared data. The 502-cm -1 mode has the largest coupling constant lambda = 0.23 (0.30) in the b (c) direction. The 1474-cm-1 mode is next, lambda = 0.14 (0.17) in t he b (c) direction.
