The ground-state properties of the two-dimensional infinite- U Hubbard
model with 1/4 hole concentration are studied with degenerate perturb
ation theory and an exact diagonalization method for a (2 X 4)-site cl
uster. We find that on a 2 X 4 lattice, the original model could be ma
pped into a spin-3/2 antiferromagnetic Heisenberg model for the case o
f two holes.
