Sp. Vdovichenko, DOPPLER SPLITTING OF AN EMISSION-LINE PRODUCED BY AN OSCILLATOR MOVING OVER AN ICE COVER, Acoustical physics, 42(3), 1996, pp. 312-317
Doppler effect was studied for a point oscillator uniformly moving ove
r a floating ice layer. A relation for the ice displacement was obtain
ed that allowed the calculation of the time and space spectra of the w
ave field. It was demonstrated that the line could split due to the si
multaneous occurrence of the normal and anomalous Doppler effects. Con
ditions were determined under which the line splitting is caused by th
e complex aberration effect.
