Abstract
The coherent cyclotron transients generated upon femtosecond interband photoexcitation of GaAs are studied under different magnetic-field co nfigurations. By varying the excitation wavelength, we are able to dis criminate between contributions to the THz emission due to ballistic t ransport and instantaneous inter-Landau level polarizations.
