Abstract
Polyurethane metal complexes (PUMC's) have been synthesized on the bas is of the polynucleus complexes of Cu(II) and Fe(III), where the metal s are connected by chlorine bridges, symmetrical aromatic diisocyanate s and azoaromatic compounds; these complexes exhibit properties of the rmotropic liquid crystals. The mesophnse temperatures of the substance s range from is 20-80 degrees C and 60-110 degrees C. Specific electri c resistance of the synthesized liquid crystal systems is 10(3)-10(5) Omega . cm.
