By catalytic trimerization polyurethaneisocyanurates (PUIC) with varyi
ng content of isocyanate and oligoester fragments were obtained. The n
umber of triisocyanurate fragments in the PUIC network was determined
with infrared spectroscopy and by using the multiple disrupted complet
e internal reflection technique. It was also shown that the PUIC resis
tance to high temperatures improves as the content of triisocyanurate
fragments increases.
