Abstract
An experimental investigation was made of the influence of the conditi ons and of the mixture composition on the output energy of a chemical hydrogen fluoride laser in which a chemical reaction was initiated by a powerful explosive light source. The average specific output energy from a volume of similar to 4 litres was similar to 240 J/litre.
