N. Yasuda et al., HYDROSTATIC-PRESSURE DEPENDENCE OF DIELECTRIC-PROPERTIES IN LEAD INDIUM NIOBATE-BASED COMPLEX PEROVSKITE SYSTEMS, Journal of the Korean Physical Society, 29, 1996, pp. 684-687
Dielectric properties of (1 - x)Pb(In1/2Nb1/2)O-3 - xPbZrO(3)(Zr-PIN)
and (1 - x)Pb(In1/2Nb1/2) O-3 - xPb(Yb1/2Nb1/2)O-3(Yb-PIN) mixed cryst
al systems have been studied under hydrostatic pressures up to 0.7 GPa
. In Zr-PIN, the temperature T-m, indicating the maximum of the dielec
tric constant, epsilon(rm)', decreases at the rate of dT(m)/dp\(p = 0)
= -54 degrees C/GPa for x = 0.1 and -100 for 0.34, while in Yb-PIN th
e T-m increases at the rate of dT(m)/dp = 155 degrees C/GPa for x = 0.
16. The epsilon(rm)' decreases with increasing pressure in Zr-PIN and
Yb-PIN. There is similarity between effects of pressure and concentrat
ion on dielectric properties in these materials.
