THE STUDY OF DIELECTRIC BEHAVIORS IN K2B4O7

The dielectric constant measurements of K2B4O7 powder pellet have been performed at several frequencies between 100 Hz and 10 MHz in the tem perature range from 45 K to 823 K. Dielectric anomaly was observed in K2B4O7 around T-H=573 K. It seems to be a structure phase transition. With respect to the aspect of the temperature dependence of complex di electric constant, K2B4O7 crystal shows very different characteristic as compared with the Li2B4O7 crystal. T-H is almost independent on mea suring frequencies and the dielectric dispersion was seen in this freq uency range.
