Abstract
The mechanism and dynamic model of the formation of 2223 phase are pre sented and verified in the paper. It reveals that with the solubilizat ion of part of the 2212 phase, 2223 phase is formed by the reaction be ing carried out according to a nucleation and growth mechanism in the presence of liquid phase, which conforms to the JMA dynamics equation. The addition of a little 2223 phase as nucleator, regrinding and resi ntering can promote the formation of 2223 phase. But the quick formati on rate of 2223 phase may lead to irregularity of the 2223 phase struc ture, which degrades its electric and magnetic properties, while annea ling treatment can improve its superconductivy.
