Abstract
Coordination geometry of the newly prepared coordination compounds of [Co(NCO)(2)L(2)] type (L is a derivative of imidazole or benzimidazole ) was investigated applying infrared and electronic spectra and magnet ic susceptibilities measurements. As ascertained, the cobalt(II) atom has a pseudotetrahedral structural arrangement and the NCO groups are terminally bounded through nitrogen.
