Abstract
The synthesis of new bridged beta-cyclodextrin dimers (CDs) has been s uccessfully achieved by a one pot transformation of 6-monoazido-6-mono deoxy-beta-CDs 2 and 5 via the phosphinimines. Pseudo-first-order rate constants hydrolysis of bis-(-p-nitrophenyl)-phosphate (PNPP) by meta l-complexes of 4 have been measured. (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Ltd.
