Abstract
This study measured the cutting efficiencies of 15 types of round-end tapered conventional and disposable diamond burs. The results showed t hat disposable diamond burs had cutting efficiencies that were compara ble to those of conventional (multiuse) diamond burs; their use should reduce the risk of clinical cross-infection.
