Abstract
Crude CNSL is very corrosive and is refined through decarboxylation. E ffect of temperature, nitrogen atmosphere and. hydroquinone on the pro perties of CNSL has been studied experimentally for two types of crude CNSL. The results are useful since refining of CNSL in India is carri ed out mostly under uncontrolled conditions.
