Abstract
Wood samples from a number of F1 eucalypt hybrids have been evaluated for Cold Caustic Soak (CCS) pulping. Some hybrids tested will produce good quality CCS pulps. The nitens x globulus hybrid had the best wood properties for CCS pulping, but cordata x globulus and perriniana x n itens produced good quality CCS pulps.
