In this paper an AHDL-based method for computer simulation of switched
-capacitor networks is described. It is based on the transformation of
these circuits from the sampled-data domain to the continuous-time do
main and on the description of the obtained network with a behavioural
language. This approach uses a general-purpose circuit simulator to a
nalyse accurately and efficiently a wide range of circuits in both the
frequency and the time domain. Reduced computation time is also ensur
ed. The performance and the advantages of this method are illustrated
by presenting and discussing a number of simulation examples. (C) 1996
