J. Liska et al., THE USE OF LECTINS IDENTIFIED WITH SPECIFIC ANTIBODIES IN LECTIN HISTOCHEMISTRY OF NZB W F1 MOUSE KIDNEY/, Acta histochemica, 94(2), 1993, pp. 185-188
The affinity of Helix pomatia, peanut, Pisum sativum, soy bean, and wh
eat germ agglutinins to various nephron parts of NZB/W F1 mice was dif
ferent and is assumed to be age dependent. The affinity of Pisum sativ
um agglutinin to basal membranes of small renal vessels increased with
the age of NZB/W F1 mice. The wheat germ agglutinin bound to structur
es with alkaline phosphatase activity.
