We consider nonhomogeneous 2-D signals that can he represented by a co
nstant modulus polynomial-phase model. A novel 2-D phase differencing
operator is introduced and used to develop a computationally efficient
estimation algorithm for the parameters of this model. The operation
of the algorithm is illustrated using an example.
