Abstract
Dielectric measurements, tan delta and G(omega), in 0.40Ag2O-0.60P2O5, 0.60Ag2O-0.40P2O5, and 0.60Ag2O-0.08B2O3-0.32P2O5 glasses are reporte d in the frequency range 10(-3) to 10(5) Hz and the temperature range 175 to 400 K. Anomalous behaviour of tan delta is observed in the 0.60 Ag2O-0.08 B2O3-0.32P2O5 glass and is interpreted in connection with th e existence of BPO4 and BO4 groups in the glass. Activation energies f or dielectric relaxation and conduction are found to be close.
