Abstract
The refractive-indices n(o) and n(e), the linear electrooptic coeffici ent r33, and the relative (low frequency) permittivities epsilon3 and epsilon1 = epsilon2 of nominally pure KTN crystals with tetragonal sym metry (4 mm) are measured at different temperatures. In the case of th e optical properties (n(o), n(e), and r33) the light wavelength is var ied, too.
