The interpretation of the behavior of a fuel cell may be done on the b
asis of models that require specific assumptions on both the descripti
on of the system and the mathematical treatment. This work shows that
the power response of a fuel cell can be described by a quadratic logi
stic differential equation. In this way the interpretation of the dyna
mical behavior of the system can be done with the general concepts of
dissipation, nonlinearity, and feedback.
