Abstract
The novel influenza virus neuraminidase inhibitor GG167 dro-3,4,5-trid eoxy-D-glycero-D-galacto-non-2-enoic acid) was labelled with C-11 for use in positron emission tomographic studies of drug deposition follow ing intranasal or inhaled administration. [C-11]GG167 was obtained wit hin a synthesis time of 50min via a two-step procedure, starting from [C-11]cyanogen bromide.
