Jl. Merino et al., RADIOFREQUENCY CATHETER ABLATION OF VENTRICULAR-TACHYCARDIA FORM THE RIGHT VENTRICLE LATE AFTER MYOCARDIAL-INFARCTION, The American journal of cardiology, 77(14), 1996, pp. 1261
Different mapping criteria have been proposed for radiofrequency cathe
ter ablation in patients with ventricular tachycardia (VT) and prior m
yocardial infarction. Nevertheless, in some patients it is not feasibl
e to ablate the VT despite finding sites that fulfill several of these
criteria. All reported cases of VT catheter ablation in this setting
have been performed in the left ventricle. In this report, we present
a patient with prior anterior myocardial infarction and incessant VT i
n whom radiofrequency ablation was successfully accomplished from the
right ventricle.
