Abstract
We have carried out femtosecond time-resolved absorption measurements of all-trans-retinal in hexane. The S-n <-- S-2 and the T-n <-- T-1 ab sorption spectra with corresponding temporal evolutions have been obta ined by a kinetic analysis based on singular value decomposition (SVD) .
