Abstract
As a part of our chemical investigation on the Moroccan grapevine, the phenolic composition of grapevine leaves of four cultivars among the most important in Moroccan viticulture is presented. Ten hydroxy flavo noids were isolated from the leaves of Vitis vinifera including myrice tin, apigenin-7-glucoside, luteolin-7-glucoside and quercetin-3-rhamno galactoside obtained from the taxon for the first time. The known quer cetin-3-glucuronoside, quercetin-3-glucoside, quercetin-3-rhamnoside, and quercetin3-rutinoside were recorded. Quercetin, kaempferol and caf feic acid were also detected. The structure elucidation of these compo unds was achieved by means of chemical methods and by UV, H-1, C-13, a nd H-1-C-13 2D HETCOR spectroscopy.
