S. Svensson et al., NEW END STATION FOR THE STUDY OF GASES, LIQUIDS, AND SOLID FILMS AT THE MAX LABORATORY, Review of scientific instruments, 67(6), 1996, pp. 2149-2156
A new end station equipped with a very high-resolution SES-200 electro
n energy analyzer has been constructed for the study of gases and soft
molecular materials. The analyzer is rotatable around the direction o
f the photon beam, allowing angular-dependent studies. The system has
been built in a way allowing the investigation of free molecules and a
toms, metal vapors, liquid interfaces as well as solid films. The firs
t electron spectroscopy results for gases, liquids, and polymer films
are presented. (C) 1996 American Institute of Physics.
