F. Saladin et al., A MINIATURIZED REACTOR FOR PHOTOCATALYSIS AND FOR SIMULTANEOUS IN-SITU SPECTROSCOPY, Review of scientific instruments, 67(6), 1996, pp. 2406-2409
The design of a miniaturized photoreactor is presented that allows for
continuous as well as for stopped flow photochemical experiments on s
olid photocatalysts with gaseous educts. Volatile products can be anal
yzed by any gas phase detection scheme such as mass spectrometry or ga
s chromatography. In addition, the design allows for easy in situ opti
cal spectroscopic measurements such as UV/VIS, IR, and luminescence, d
epending on the transparency of the window material used. (C) 1996 Ame
