Abstract
The photolysis of [Cp '' Fe(CO)(2)](2) 1 (Cp '' = C(5)H(3)(t)Bu(2)-1,3 ) and P-4 gives with successive cleavage of P-P bonds and decarbonylat ion the P, complex series [Cp2 '' Fe2P4(CO)(4-n)] 2 (n = 0), 3 (n = 1) , 4 (n = 2), 5 (n = 3) and 6 (n = 4) with different P-4 ligands. 4 and 6 have been further characterized by X-ray structure analyses.
