Abstract
We present first results of a study of the growth process of a multila yer rare-gas film on a single crystal surface. We used X-ray synchrotr on radiation to characterize the physisorbed argon film on a single-cr ystal MgO surface. Our results are well described within the triple-po int wetting theory framework.
