Abstract
''Dry'' carbonyl Diels-Alder and carbonyl-ene reactions with microwave s and reactants supported on graphite were dramatically accelerated wi th respect to homogeneous conditions both involving classical or micro wave heating. Although the reactions were carried out in an open react or, a control of the evaporation of volatile reagents was possible, pr obably due to their retention or confinement by graphite.
