Abstract
Given the data (p(i), t(i), f(i)), i = 1,..., m, we consider the exist ence problem for the optimal parameters for the exponential function a pproximating these data in the sense of total least squares. We give s ufficient conditions which guarantee the existence of such optimal par ameters.
