Abstract
The synthesis of nickel complexes dibenzotetraaza [14] annulenes beari ng four, six or eight long paraffinic chains is described. Preliminary results concerning the mesomorphic properties of such systems show th at those compounds exhibit a wide range hexagonal columnar phase.
