Abstract
Solid dispersions offenofibrate in PEG 4000 were prepared by the solve nt and fusion methods. The binary systems are successively studied and characterized using differential scanning calorimetry, X-ray diffract ometry and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Dissolution studie s of the solid dispersed powders were performed to verify the water so lubility improvement of the fenofibrate present in the formulations.
