Abstract
The synthesis, spectroscopic study and X-ray structure determination o f eta(2) acylcyclopentadienyl complexes of titanium are reported. Thes e complexes, showing an eta(2) acyl group, exhibit a zwitterionic char acter because the anionic [BPh(3)CN] group is intimately bound to the titanium atom.
