Abstract
Jerison has demonstrated an integrable non-full rank German demand sys tem whose income compensation function is not a Lie group. In this cas e also, however, as in all cases of integrable German systems, the int egrability conditions are a consequence of Lie's theorems on the gener ators of the Lie groups on the real line.
