Abstract
The inward propagating spherical flame and burner stabilized Bunsen-ty pe flame of low-Lewis-number premixtures are studied numerically. It i s shown that reduction of the reaction rate induced by the flame stret ch makes the flame vulnerable to the radiative heat losses which may w ell result in a partial or complete extinction of the flame.
