Ge. Martin et al., LONG-RANGE H-1-N-15 HETERONUCLEAR SHIFT CORRELATION AT NATURAL-ABUNDANCE USING GRADIENT-ENHANCED HMQC, Journal of natural products, 59(1), 1996, pp. 2-4
Long-range H-1-N-15 GHMQC spectra afford a viable means of beginning t
o incorporate N-15 into strategies to elucidate the structures of pote
ntially novel alkaloids. Long-range H-1-N-15 heteronuclear shift corre
lation using a variant of the gradient-enhanced HMQC pulse sequence is
demonstrated at N-15 natural abundance using the indoloquinoline alka
loid cryptolepine.
