Total elastic and transport cross sections for the (p mu)(n)+p, (d mu
)(n)+d, and (t mu)(n)*+t systems (n is the principal quantum number)
are calculated in the energy range 0.04 less than or equal to E less t
han or equal to 10 eV using the classical and quasiclassical approach.
Electron screening is taken into account. The obtained elastic cross
sections are large, especially for small E. The experimental methods o
f measuring these cross sections are discussed.
