Abstract
An ordering potential out of the Thomas-Fermi type interaction between dissimilar species based on the concept of charge transfer and hence concentration dependent, is constructed to study the thermodynamic pro perties of the Li - Pb alloy in the Bhatia-Young formalism. It is seen to be fairly successful in predicting the experimental behaviour of c oncentration fluctuation and the excess stability in the system.
