Abstract
This paper discusses the temperature dependence of the thermoelectromo tive force of polycrystalline materials of the As-2(Se1-xTex)(3) syste m in the solid and liquid state. It is shown that the thermoelectromot ive force and the Peltier coefficient increase when these semiconducto rs melt. These materials can be recommended for use in series thermopi les.
