Abstract
A refined kinetic equation of the phenomenological theory of fracture is given as applied to the mechanics of plastic metal working for pred icting the accumulation of damage in the case of large plastic strain. Discussed is the procedure for determining the values of decisive par ameters in the generalized phenomenological model of fracture.
