Y. Ohgo et al., DIRECT OBSERVATION OF HYDROGEN-DEUTERIUM EXCHANGE-REACTION IN COBALOXIME CRYSTAL BY NEUTRON-DIFFRACTION, Chemistry Letters, (6), 1996, pp. 445-446
After a crystal of henylethylamine]bis(dimethylglyoximato)cobalt(III)
was exposed to a xenon lamp for two weeks, its structure was analyzed
by neutron diffraction. The deuterium atom was exchanged partially wit
h one of the three methyl hydrogenes of the cyanoethyl group. The exch
anged one is located closest to the deuterium atom.
