Abstract
High frequency surgery has inherent residual risks, which, combined wi th handling errors, have led in the past to medical-technical incident s. Low-energy microsurgical HF instruments and operating methods make laparopelviscopic surgery safer and more precise. Technical-physical a spects and surgical application areas for monopolar microneedle electr odes in gynaecology are reported here. The clinical experiences are ba sed on a large number of cases during a 6 year period.
