One of the critical performance parameters for a Compton Camera Imager
(CCI) is the Point Source Location Accuracy (PSLA). This paper descri
bes analysis of both experimental and simulated data to evaluate the p
oint source resolving power of a germanium Compton Camera Imager. The
experimental data are taken from a set of experiments performed in 199
3 at Naval Research Laboratory[1]. Subsequent design studies have util
ized Monte Carlo simulations to predict the performance parameters for
a number of detector geometries. Presented in this paper are the resu
lts from one of those configurations.
