Abstract
We report the performance of a Nd:glass laser logitudinally pumped by a multistripe diode laser. The end pumped Nd:glass laser had cw output power of more than 330 mW with a slope efficiency of 34%. Using AM mo de-locking technique, shortest pulse duration is 6.5 ps. We have also demonstrated a passive mode-locking Nd:glass laser based on nonlinear miror. The mode-loked pulse width is 200 ps.
